Prior to working on this mini documentary, I had not heard of the group Team Rubicon. I had no idea they were military vets from all facets of the military, who wanted to use the skills they learned and trained for, to help others in need. I didn’t know they self deployed to natural disaster areas, with a humanitarian focus. I also didn’t know that not only could vets volunteer, but regular citizens who have that calling to help others could too. I knew none of these things… but I do now. Not only do I, but I also fully support their efforts and am extremely proud to have played an albeit small part in getting the word out about them.
